A foggy morning at the estuary is magic.
Eagles were perched on virtually every stump, competing with seagulls and seals for spawned salmon carcasses that have washed downstream.
Later in the day the clouds briefly parted creating a vivid rainbow that at times appeared as if it were only a few meters away. Rushed out of the car, camera getting rained on, and took a few images of the view from the waterfront, which never gets boring. Since I only had my wildlife telephoto I tried handheld panorama stitching of multiple shots to get a wider view - it worked perfectly. The sun lasted just a few minutes before the cold wind and rain returned.
