Long walk along the beach and the spit. Carrying the bird lens today; this is a prime area for that.

Caught some finches in ‘torpedo’ mode between wing flaps. The heron that hangs out here was in the same spot as last time (is it the same one?). Mergansers look crazed with those bright red eyes - they were diving for small fish.

As usual, I’m not that fussed about de-duplication or picking the best of a series, so there are some groups of similar shots in here. Is what it is - what do you think I am, a professional?
