This road trip was planned originally in July, but a covid infection that had me feverish and shivering in bed for a week cancelled it.

The morning started with fall weather and sunshine with snow at slight elevation and clear fields in the river valley, mid-day was mild winter and cloud with wet roads and constant clouds of salt spray from trucks, with a short break for dinner and a drive on the riverbed in Revelstoke. The day ended late and in a mild and dark Calgary.

Oh, and I tried to sneak up on a huge group of crows and eagles feasting on a carcass, to get some interesting images of the feeding, but they noticed me and scattered.
